The Centre for Indian Knowledge System (CIKS) is a dedicated academic and research platform committed to the study, preservation, and dissemination of India’s rich and diverse knowledge traditions. Drawing from classical texts, indigenous practices, and lived traditions, the Centre promotes interdisciplinary engagement across areas such as philosophy, science, mathematics, medicine, ecology, history, geography, culture, agriculture, arts, and governance. It seeks to integrate Indian knowledge systems with contemporary academic inquiry, fostering critical understanding, innovation, and sustainability. Through teaching, research, documentation, and outreach activities, the Centre aims to nurture cultural rootedness, intellectual self-reliance, and holistic development in alignment with India’s civilizational ethos and modern societal needs.
